Item No. 9056643
Glass microfiber filters Grade GF/C from Whatman offer a good flow rate and loading capacity that support total suspended solids analysis. Manufactured without chemical binders from high quality borosilicate glass microfibers. Filtration speeds generally much higher than conventional cellulose paper

Description

Glass microfiber filters Grade GF/C from Whatman offer a good flow rate and loading capacity that support total suspended solids analysis. Manufactured without chemical binders from high quality borosilicate glass microfibers. Filtration speeds generally much higher than conventional cellulose paper filters. Efficient separation of micron-sized particles. Ideal for use in flat, perforated Büchner funnels.

Recommended usage:

  • Total Suspended Solids filter for testing both potable water and waste water.
  • Cell harvesting.
  • Liquid scintillation counting.
  • Highly suitable for air filtration.
  • Gravimetric analysis of volatile materials where ignition is involved.
  • Suitable for gravitational or low-suction filtration.
  • Usable up to 550 °C.

Whatman Grade GF/C has a nominal porosity of 1,2 µm.
