Filter circles, glass microfiber, Whatman, Grade GF/D, Ø257 mm, 2,7 µm, 25 pcs

Item No. 9056777
Glass microfiber filters Grade GF/D from Whatman achieve fast filtration and have a high loading capacity. GF/D filters are thicker than most GF filters and have a higher wet strength and increased loading capacity. Manufactured without chemical binders from high quality borosilicate glass microfibe

Description

Glass microfiber filters Grade GF/D from Whatman achieve fast filtration and have a high loading capacity. GF/D filters are thicker than most GF filters and have a higher wet strength and increased loading capacity. Manufactured without chemical binders from high quality borosilicate glass microfibers. Filtration speeds generally much higher than conventional cellulose paper filters. Efficient separation of micron-sized particles. Ideal for use in flat, perforated Büchner funnels.

Recommended usage:

  • Filtration of large volumes.
  • Pre-filter for membranes, particularly in conjunction with GF/B.
  • Air filtration.
  • Gravimetric analysis of volatile materials where ignition is onvolved.
  • Suitable for gravitational or low-suction filtration.
  • Usable up to 550 °C.

Whatman Grade GF/D has a nominal porosity of 2,7 µm.
