Sartorius membrane filters made from PC

These polycarbonate track-etched membrane filters are hydrophilic and chemically resistant to many organic acids, salt solutions, aliphatic hydrocarbons, and alcohols. They are biologically inert, feature exceptionally low non-specific adsorption and have extremely low extractables with no particle release. Additionally, they are translucent and very evenly flat, making for excellent visibility of the retained particles under light microscopes or for SEM.

The filters are recommended for the removal and exhamination of particles from aqueous and partly aqueous solutions, for analytical determination such as HPLC, for the sterile filtration of these liquids, as well as for applications where a membrane with a extremely low non-specific adsorption is suitable.
