Filter circles, glass microfiber, Whatman, Grade GF/A, Ø37 mm, 1,6 µm, 100 pcs
Description
Glass microfiber filters Grade GF/A from Whatman achieve fast filtration and have a high loading capacity. Manufactured without chemical binders from high quality borosilicate glass microfibers. Filtration speeds generally much higher than conventional cellulose paper filters. Efficient separation of micron-sized particles. Ideal for use in flat, perforated Büchner funnels.
Recommended usage:
- Highly efficient for general laboratory filtration.
- Water and air pollution monitoring and wastewater filtering.
- Foodstuff analysis.
- Filtering of algae and bacteria cultures.
- Protein filtration.
- Clarificatino of buffer and reagent solutions.
- Radioimmunoassay of weak β emitters.
- Gravimetric determination of airborne particulates.
- Suitable for gravitational or low-suction filtration.
- Usable up to 550 °C.
