Automatic polarimeter with single wavelength 589nm and XPC Peltier temperature control

The polarimeter performs measurements at a single wavelength (589nm) and has a LED-lightsource with a long lifetime. Samples with an optical density of up to 3.0 OD can be measured and the instrument is equipped with methods for angular degrees, sugar scale (ISS) and can be programmed with user-defined methods and standard industry scales (such as invert sugar and A-B inversion). This flexibility makes the instrument suited for environments adhering to pharmacopoeia.

The polarimeter can perform measurements as continuous or via the "single-shot" mode. Calibrations and instrument configurations can be protected either with passwords or RFID-tags. With the audit trails as well, the instrument adheres to 21 CFR part 11 and GLP guidelines.

Scope of delivery includes the AP450 polarimeter, a 200mm polarimeter tube and adaptor for the tube.
