Seminar: Freeze-drying – Process Optimization and Small Batch Production

Herlev on May 15 / Aarhus on May 16, 2024

This seminar is aimed at those who already have a basic understanding of freeze-drying. During the seminar, we will discuss the possibilities for optimizing the freeze-drying process. We'll cover how, with a freeze dryer from Martin Christ, you can control, observe, and monitor the process, including camera observation, wireless temperature measurement, controlled nucleation, and more.

Topics to be covered:
• Freeze-drying - basic principles
• Best process parameters
• How to handle samples containing solvents? (e.g., alcohols, ACN, DMSO)
• Special laboratory configurations
• Pilot units: The versatile front-operated model – development – and small-scale production

Target audience: Anyone with a basic understanding of freeze-drying interested in process optimization.
Date: Herlev on May 15 / Aarhus on May 16, 2024
Location: Marielundvej 39, 2730 Herlev / VIA University College, Ceresbyen 24, 8000 Aarhus C.
