Scan 500 is an automatic colony counter that ensures fast and efficient counting of colonies on the most common laboratory media. It counts colonies on a petri dish in less than half a second and gives you fast, accurate, complete and traceable reading of the results. Scan 500 can also read the diameter of inhibition zones and is thus a fantastic tool for antibiogram analysis. 

The colony counter is equipped with a 1 MP camera that ensures the detection of colonies > 0.1 mm. and can simultaneously differentiate between colonies arranges in clusteres.
