THOMSON Optimum Growth shake flasks, designed for high yield cultivation.
The entire shape of THOMSON Optimum Growth shake flasks have been redesigned compared to the normal Erlenmeyer or Fernbach flasks, to provide better aeration of the media during shaking. Even the size of the lid is increased to allow for bigger filters, thus allowing more airflow.
THOMSON Optimum Growth flasks, has small baffles providing less shear stress, making them ideal for mammalian- and insect cells. Combined with large surface of the sterile aeration filter in the top, you get minimal shear stress and maximum aeration for all types of cultivation.
High media aeration/airflow = High Yield, High aeration allows for higher cell densities and in some cases higher filling volume of the shake flasks, providing a higher yield pr run.
