Glass microfiber filters Grade GF 9 from Whatman

These filters from Cytiva Whatman are meant for medium-fast filtration of coarse particles, or as a prefilter, and have a high loading capacity.
Manufactured from high quality borosilicate glass microfibers, with an inorganic binder for increased strength. Filtration speeds generally much higher than conventional cellulose paper filters. Ideal for use in flat, perforated Büchner funnels.

Recommended usage:

  • Coarse particulates.
  • Environmental analysis.
  • PCB, DDE, DDT, furans, and dioxins in air
  • Water/air pollution assessment.
  • As prefilters for membranes or finer filtration.
  • Suitable for gravitational or low-suction filtration.
