Qualitative filter paper sheets, Whatman Grade 598
Filter paper made from pure cellulose for filtration of crystalline precipitations and particulates, with medium-fast flow rate. Grade 598 qualitative filter paper has a high loading capacity and is therefore often used for filtration of large amounts of particles, or for qualitative analytical processes where determining and identifying particulates in large samples is needed. Also available as a prepleated filter, Grade 598 ½.
