Glass microfiber filters Type MN GF-3 from Macherey-Nagel
These filters have fast filtration and a high loading capacity. Manufactured from high quality borosilicate glass microfibers, entirely without binders. Filtration speeds generally much higher than conventional cellulose paper filters. Efficient separation of micron and sub-micron sized particles. Ideal for use in flat, perforated Büchner funnels.
Recommended usage:
- Very fine particulates.
- Biochemical gelatinous precipitates.
- Cell harvesting.
- Collection of suspended solids for water pollution assessment.
- Suitable for gravitational or low-suction filtration.
