Glass microfiber filters Type MN 85/70 from Macherey-Nagel achieve fast filtration and have a very high loading capacity.
This series is manufactured from high quality borosilicate glass microfibers, with an organic binder for higher strength than most glass microfiber filters. Filtration speeds generally much higher than conventional cellulose paper filters. Efficient separation of micron and sub-micron sized particles. Ideal for use in flat, perforated Büchner funnels.
Recommended usage:
- Very fine particulates.
- Biochemical gelatinous precipitates.
- Cell harvesting.
- Water/air pollution assessment.
- Suitable for gravitational or low-suction filtration.
